With our presence as prominent players in the manufacturing and supplying fraternity, we all have witnessed innumerable supply disruptions over the period of time ranging with natural calamities like earthquakes or tsunamis to vessel piracy in the Indian Ocean to the irrational policy changes that are sometimes not well defined for a particular set of manufacturers. Each disruption erupts a world of uncertainties for the supplier in terms of its after effects.

The current scenario is no different for all of us with the outbreak of the Novel Corona Virus (Covid-19) pandemic. The only thing that is certain about the after effect of the pandemic is the appalling socio-economic conditions while the intensity of it remains totally uncertain as this is a very premature time to assess the depth of the situation as it still remains fluid.
The central government, state government, civic authorities are working hand-in-hand with the local organisations, NGOs of prominent corporates and also the local people to curb the outspread of the pandemic in its so called second stage of transmission. Dramatic increase in the production of medical essentials like hospital beds, ventilators, personal protective equipment’s, drugs, hygiene products, etc. not only by the bigwigs but also small organisations from the MSME and even the informal sector has been highly commendable.

Every institution and every person as an individual working in sync to educate people in terms of hygiene, sanitation, social distancing and various other aspects while we fight this woeful times standing united.
The current situation is regarded as a global pandemic which would trigger the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression. As the Governments of the countries worldwide are on toes for the best measures to curtail its disastrous economic aftermath, it would require a massive response, a collective effort from all economies to ensure a steady path to recovery.
Companies across the globe are coming out with different measures to ensure a way out of this difficult situation.

At Rajasthan Powergen Transformers P. Ltd. our HSE (Health Safety Environment) policy has been on top of our hierarchy while dealing with any circumstances faced by the company. Here we try to inculcate the best values, measures required for maintaining our core values of human standards. We not only implement the best practices coming by our values but also learn and implement every best standard that we see in our peers and companies worldwide who also has a common motive of valuing human life above all. While we have geared our employees and company with all essential protective items, sanitation facilities during the initial stages we also came up with measures which facilitated the entire staff to work from home.

With time and intensity we curtailed our production volumes so as to ensure safety of our workers. Apart from this activities such as distribution of masks, sanitizers, food packets covering remotest vicinity of our location has been a part of our social commitment.
Undeniably we could not fulfil a few of our commitments to our business counterparts in terms of deliveries and other few technical and paper assistance because of the closing of our facilities keeping in mind staff welfare. And we also appreciate the temperament shown by all our business counterparts who not only considered the gravity of the situation but also suggested their valuable inputs. We a RPTPL whole heartedly thank all our associates for their support, as we promise to keep our intentions high, commitments honoured, and a fast and decisive approach to all the commitments made by us and returning to a state of normalcy with an unprecedented effort.
This too shall pass……
The Depth of the aftermath will depends on how the human race retrospect’s, introspects & acts to the situations.
